[Angel Ghost]

My daughter's bird, Angel, has a type of growth or dryness on her beak. Our vet can't see her until next week and I thought I'd check on here to see if anyone recognizes what this may be? I am thinking either vitamin A deficiency or mites. I did add a few little pieces of raw carrot into her food today incase it is that. Thank you!

ETA: she is about 7 months old and she's our only bird.

The pictures are not too clear but it looks like scaly face mites from what I can see.

Thank you! I just googled scaly face mites, that is what is looks like. Poor thing. Would you happen to know if this can worsen quickly? The vet doesn't have an opening until next Wednesday and I need a prescription for the medicine.

We will be seeing a vet who sees exotic animals. She's been our vet for our other pets for the past four years and we really like her. Hopefully it will all go well! Thank you for responding.
