it's hot today so i have the birds a nice shower.
my little guy Hazel


got a bit too wet and couldnt fly. so i picked him up and got to hold him for a long while!! EEEEEEEE so cute!! and my first aviary bird not to bite me while being held.

i live in Happy valley SA. atm they are sweltering through 40+C weather. :mad:

Make sure you give them plenty of fresh water, they won't drink it if it is warm. Also place some wet towels or sheets over the aviary mist them often or if you can take them inside then do so.
