So I understand there are 3 types of Pieds

Dominant Pied

These are Dominant Pieds.
Recessive Pied

These are Recessive Pieds.
Clearflight Pied

These are Clearflight Pieds
Now my concern lies with Danish or Harlequin Pieds.

Some breeders here think that Dominant Pieds are Danish Pieds.

I had told them that Danish Pied budgies are Recessive Pied budgies, not Dominant Pieds.

I had also told them that Danish Pied or Harlequin Pied is not the official name for Recessive Pieds, nor is it for Dominant and Clearflight Pieds. It is a name used for Recessive Pied, but there's no mention of this in WBO's Mutation standard's list.
The list is here I believe.

So I believe that Recessive Pieds and Danish Pieds are the same?
Or am I wrong?

Danish Pied & Harlequin Pied are other names for recessive pieds. When the mutation first appeared it was usually referred to as Danish pied but in recent years they are usually called recessive pied. The term harlequin was mostly used for yellow face recessive pieds

The clearflight pied is sometimes called Continental Pied or Dutch Pied

The dominant pied was originally known as the Australian Banded Pied

I have seen changes in the names of many mutations since I bred my first budgies over sixty years ago. Other name changes include clearwings & dilutes
