Got 2 new ones today. hoping they are both female. The lighter one looked all white with a patch or two of light yellow in the store but it looks mostly real pale yeelow with white patches here at home. I would like to guess the blue one is yf sky blue opaline. im a newbee and this is my first stab at id'ing. So I cant wait to hear what you all say.

Thanks rick

Yep you have 2 cute little girls there! :)

The first is a yellow face 2 albino, and the second a sky blue opaline yellow face probably type 2 as well like you guessed :)

They are beautiful I am pretty sure you have 2 females there I am not great with the mutations myself so I hope someone comes along and helps but it looks in the pic as though the light yellow one has red eyes? so its an ino (albino) of some sort ? if you know the parents of that one then you will know the sex for deffo from that I do believe but like I said I struggle with mutations
Beautiful birds though x

Do you have any idea how much we all appreciate your sharing your knowledge here? I know I'm learning more with every assessment you make, and I say thank you to you for that :)

They certainly are beautiful little girls.

They were clipped when I got them(Store bought) . The other 6 I had clipped by the breeder when I got them also. I wanted them clipped for their initial bonding time with me. I will probably never clip them again.
I got these two today because when I got he first 4, 2m and 2f I picked them out then went back and picked them up a week later. One of the females seemed to always be hanging with another male and I couldnt bear to seperate them so I took the other male too. Then the wife wanted a yellow one so I ended up with 4m and 2f. Now I have 4m and 4f. I cant really keep them in seperate room so they are in seperate cages and I just got a Rabbitair BioGs filter for the room and thats as close as I can get to quarentine. I hope it works well for all.
