Hi All at TB!

Just popped-in to say all is still fine this side....

...must say I have been busy as always, and do miss the community activities...!!

Will be checking-in from time to time...currently I have big plans with my Show Budgy breeding...so hold thumbs I can post some success stories later this year!

Can anyone tell what genes these 2 birds carry:

Enjoy these little birdies of yours!

The first one could be a violet and the second one looks like a grey Spangle. Good luck with your plans. Are there any shows that you are going too?

I'd say a (maybe violet) cobalt and a cinnamon grey spangle in the second photo. Not sure on the cinnamon, but her throat spots look brown on my monitor.

Hi, Jaco!! Welcome back. As for the mutations, I am not the one to try. I think Neville will be the best to ask.
By the way. I am into the show budgies myself, but not for Shows. My brother did get a grey pair from a breeder in Keetmanshoop and he bought a pair blue something pieds(try to breed, but no success. Then I bought a cinnamon green lady from a breeder here in Windhoek(imported from Welkom). I bought a green pied(I think) from my petshop(friends) and do have a blue pied male that my brother bought in Okahandja. I send you pics of my birdies.
Enjoy work, your family and budgies!!
