Lyn .... I don't have it on video, unfortunately - BUT, I have asked Mista to do things and several times, he has snapped out a very clear "NO" and avoided me by running off out of reach.
You are lucky to have the proof on video - Indi is very intelligent. I think that budgies are as smart as, say an African Grey parrot. Look at Wiki's video's too .... another budgie who understands language and gestures. AnnMarie has filmed Wiki doing his thing too.
I'll look forward to seeing Indi's mimicry on the deep voice as well as your voice. That will be MORE proof on how smart budgies are in general, and Indi especially!

What an interesting video AnnMarie! I honestly believe their intelligence is superior - I HATE the phrase "Oh, they have a brain the size of a pea" .... and other denigrating comments like that. Their brain size is in comparison to their body size.I love it, Lyn! That Indi knows what's going on
