he is handsome, i still don't understand the whole 'english' thing and what it is judged too

is it just when a budgie is more large it then classed as a 'show' bird?
which to me makes no sense, or is it the stance?

most i see would get laughed at on the show bench and look nothing near what a show (english) bird actually looks anything like

just look a bit bulky than normal :p

ta bridget. i havent a cluezy clue hehe
thanks spicky. i really dont know what classifies the difference.

on all the websites i could find, it mainly says about the size
and it mentions about the "best" english budgies being bred for show.

obviously i know he isnt a show bird lol. its just the size thing that i was curious about coz he is so much younger than laska.

he is a 'bulky' bird :)

i have a very big bird breed of Geoff Capes, i would never call him a show bird or any were near the standard, he is just a big budgie with good blood lines
