Layla is my new "saved" budgie.
Im wanting to know a few things.. :)

Is Layla female:
I was told she is 8 months?
Is her cere ment to be light blue still?
Her nostrils don't look white but she has scaly face, hard to see.
I just want to know if she was actually quite old, if she came "out" of breeding
season, would her cere go back to this light blue or would it always be tan??

Is she currently looking in a HEAVY molt.

Is she ENGLISH?

What's her mutation? I see violet on her neck.

Thanks :budgie:

Definatley english and I think female. My 9 month old still has a blue and white cere so totally normal.

Also my hen came out of breeding condition and yes it went back to blue.

Also I think she's a normal skyblue as she has turqoise feathering.

I would add vitamins to her diet. I did respond to this somewhere else as well :) Awesome name and she's beautiful!!!

Spicky: I have no budgies with a "white cap" It has nothing
to do with the "dominant pied" right? Her moult seems heavy &
she doesnt look to good. how long does moult take? most of my
flock are now moulting! Also what are stressbars? I cannot get her to
each foods other than seed :( She wont eat the pellets, fruit, veg or grass
seeds, but like millet.

Thanks again! I wasnt sure if there ceres would go back to blue
if they're out of breeding condition while older than a year.
