I found this grapevine stand on etsy (and seems at least a couple other members here have, too). It's a bit shorter than advertised, and came with a lot of grooves. I have read that grooves and such could be dangerous to the bird, i.e. get toes and claws stuck. But, I'm not sure how real that is with something like this, are budgies really that uncoordinated?!

Keep or return (and gobble up the shipping fees) ? I suppose I could keep it and use as a trellis for indoor plants, though it is a bit short at 30" and expensive for that ugh.

I mean, I like mine and my birds have never had an issue with it.
Linnie feet are a bit different from budgie feet, but they still both have nails.

My vote is that it's safe to try, but I'd wait for the other moderators to weigh-in as well.
