Is this usual behaviour

I have several budgies in my mixed flight (all male) 2 are feeding a Tiel with 2 chicks in nestbox, they are also feeding the cicks.

That's interesting. I've never heard of budgies jumping in
to help another type of bird like that. It sounds like they are
very eager to be helpful fathers :)

That is the sweetest thing ever, you have very special budgies there! To be so helpful and adopt the cockatiel chicks like that. It's truly precious, bless them! :)

I believe that is Very unusual - and So Dear! I love how all the cockatiels watching seem so accepting and approving, too!
