Yes, I am sorry... It took me a long time to do another video. Gustav was so nice to me, I think he felt that I wasn't feeling good... 2 days ago I got the message from the company in Germany, that they needed to fire a few people, it seems the company is not doing well any longer... And of course I was one of those persons... I was literally on the floor because of this sudden message out of the blue...

But this evening Gustav came out of his cage and just sat there, he wanted me to scratch his head and then something very cute happened. But watch for yourself:

BTW. Gustav now starts to imitate me. It's not that clear yet, but I hear all the time Baby bird, I love you! And also he wants to mimic the very important melody from Brahms 2nd Piano concerto. He slowly but surely sounds sometimes like he does mimic exactly that! So cute. Because as soon he starts, he does not stop anymore lol

Your Gustav is such a sweetheart, it's great to see the special bond he has with you.
And it's true that they can sense when we are feeling down and are able to give us comfort and cheer us up. I have proof also in some of my tamest birds I have had throughout the years and my dog. I hope you will find another job soon.
