They "escaped" their cage while the neighbor was caring for them when I was in Georgia. I guess they had two full days of "out of cage time" while I was gone!
Thank goodness the neighbor at least closed my bedroom door!

I think they wanted to try to look innocent in the "peek a boo" photos but I believe that's impossible.

If only they were as "sweet" and loving as they look! :laughing1: The one and only time I let Poppy get close to my hand (and she was outside the cage at the time) she bit me really HARD and drew blood. She only looks innocent.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the airplane photos! It's so cute that Poppy is holding onto the bar with her little foot.

Thank you, Bethany! They do love their castle and also enjoy their "out of cage" time in the bathroom with the playground Ted built. I have it on the counter right next to the window so they get to play and see the outside world all at the same time. The airplane swing is their very favorite toy.
They both sleep on it almost every night.

Ohmygosh so much cuteness! I love the airplane photos, especially the one with them looking at each other.

When I rescued Pedro and Poppy they had not been not well cared for. I've tried to do everything I can for them. They have a nice big flight cage, lots of toys, a healthy diet, a play-gym for out-of-cage time and they get plenty of time and attention.
Unfortunately, I had never had a desire for birds other than budgies and had no knowledge of the difference in temperament and behavior of lovebirds. They have been very challenging. It would be better for Pedro and Poppy to be with someone who truly enjoys bigger birds.

Oh Dear!!! i love Poppy so much!!!!! i also love Pedro but i must say Poppy looks so soft and sweet!! Shhhh.... dont tell Pedro
