Now Khaleesi is officially entering the realm of board games, starting with a word puzzle game. We decided to write the names of all birdies in our flock.
These pics were taken last Summer, so it's only natural Goldilocks' name is not there, she only became part of the flock on October.

I'm placing the "D" letter now to finish Dinda's name.

Here is another video of Khaleesi playing on the shelf, this time he decides to pick on the "magic firefly" little dolls and chuck them all onto the floor.
Each year there is a campaign to help children and adults with Down's Syndrome and we have always contributed (and always will) to the cause and buy the "magic firefly" dolls as well as other things to help the charity.
I never thought Khaleesi would like them so much, and next May my boy will have a new doll to play with and make it fall off the shelf.

Again, I apologize for the video's poor quality, my cellphone was more handy at the time.

Peachy is in awe of Khaleesi's ability to play such cool games with you.
Peachy's idea of fun is stealing a key from my laptop keyboard and flying off with it!

I love the way Khaleesi looks at you after throwing each of the "magic firefles" off the shelf like "Did you see what I did, Mom? Did ya?" :laughing:

Thanks Gaby! He always makes that look after throwing something to the floor, he tilts his head and watches the crash landing and also looks at me in hopes I will pick the toy up and give it back to him.

We never know, maybe one day a lovebird will somehow make its way to you, Randy.

Being a proud lovebird owner, I'm not very fond of the bad reputation lovies sometimes get.
I have in Khaleesi the most loving, loyal pet bird/friend/companion I have ever had in my almost 27 years of pet bird ownership.
This series is just a small way to show my appreciation for the species and to of course honour my best buddy Khaleesi. I feel very grateful and blessed to have this precious boy in my life.

Lovebirds rule!! :bowdown:

I love this series! Khaleesi is so adorable, and you've inspired me to start thinking up new toys for Sammy. So far, neither the plastic bottle cap or the kitchen paper roll are a hit, but we'll see. It takes a long time for him to adjust to something, so toy time might take a while for him to enjoy.

My Khaleesi, the moment he sees me holding something in my hand, he immediately wants to investigate and if possible to turn the object I'm holding into a toy. I would never thought he would make a toy out of a bottle cap or out of a plastic 50 cent euro coin from the supermarket shopping carts.

Thanks, Dee! Lovebirds are quite clever, my Khaleesi reminds me of a puppy dog, he's very playful and wants to follow me wherever I go.

Oh I just LOVE that Khaleesi so much!!! I especially love the look of total satisfaction and pride on his face when he has thrown those dolls off the shelf!! He looks up at you as if to say "Hmmph, I did it." What a total character he is!! Just delightful

Thanks, Madonna! He is a funny boy who genuinely loves to play and it gives me a lot of joy to see him so happy.
