Hey guys! we cook this meal every year on Easter time but you can make this throughout the year! it has a lot of greens and it's delicious! I found many similarities to the way I cook it here, to this site:
Lamb Fricassee (Arnaki Frikase) - Greek Recipes

The only difference is that my greens are a little different;
2 big lettuces
500 gr spinach leaves
1 batch dill
a little fennel
1 batch green onions
1 big onion
1 clove of garlic, everything well washed and chopped.

All the other preparations and ingredients are the same :)
You can also have a vegetarian version of this meal, instead of lamb you can use 700 gr chopped mushrooms. We have tried this before and the taste is awesome. Hope you enjoy it! :)

Oh my goodness, that looks wonderful :love: Lamb is pretty expensive here, but maybe one day I make it :D

I have to say that the ingredients sound delicious, although I'm not a big fan of lamb. ;) Maybe I should make some for my mom, she loves lamb!

Thanks guys! :) we have made it also with chicken legs. I tend to leave it on the heat until most of the liquids are gone- greens make it watery. It's a dish we all enjoy and has a lemony taste :) good luck!

The chicken version sounds mouth watering! I love lemon flavors in food. I've always enjoyed the Mediterranean foods I've had before. I'm also conscious of getting enough vegetables and greens, so I'll have to make this! I don't have a Dutch oven though.
