Sorry if this is the wrong place to share this. but I'm Kind of in a rush right now. basically what happened is about a month ago she was perfectly find like every other budgie in the world. until this morning. I woke up looked at her cage and noticed she had one eye closed. I looked a little closer and noticed a weird growth around her eye. at first i thought it was mites.. I'm still not sure what it is. I'll be booking an appointment to an avian vet as soon as I've posted this. I'm just wondering what I could do in the mean time to help her. I feel so bad for her right now.

I'm very sorry to hear about Lulu's eye.
Have you been able to get her into the Emergency Vet?
You can use a sterile saline solution (available from the pharmacy) to rinse her eye.
Please keep us updated on her progress.
