I'm particularly excited about my newest addition. She's a female that I bought from Petland 2 days ago. I haven't named her yet, but she's the double factor dominant pied (the white one). My two males were previously owned by my sisters who bought them several months ago at Petsmart. They can already step up onto my finger and have been eating from my hand for a while now.

I bought my female in hopes that she'd pair with my opaline named Glacier (the sky blue one). He doesn't seem to like her though. In fact, the other male doesn't really like her either.

She seems to be isolating herself from the other 2, but at the same time she's also more adventurous than they are. That's probably due to her previous home at Petland. The budgie enclosure there was FULL of toys and things for the birds to chew on.

So far my plan is to only feed my budgies from my hand. They won't have access to the food dish until I put them back in the cage at night. I've kept them outside the cage so they can explore and get use to the new environment.

Since it won't let me upload the video, here's the link.

Thank you for the advice, but I took her to my vet friend before bringing her home. I had her separated from the boys for the first 3 days to observe her.

Everyone's been fine so far. :)
