Meet Storm

I have a new baby hamster, she was part of an unexpected litter that my mums hamster had around 7 weeks ago. I've had her since she was 3 weeks old but she is so hard to photograph that it's taken me ages just to take one that is of decent quality.
She is staying in a bin-cage because of obsessive bar chewing that was keeping me awake at night. She loves it though, the bin-cage is bigger than her old wired-cage.

It's great to meet Storm, she's such a cutie and how sweet it must have been for you to closely follow her growth! :)
Thank you for sharing the pic!

What's a bin cage?

she's cute, though I look through updated posts and thought it was one weird looking budgie at first, lol!

What a cute little girl Storm is! It must have been very interesting to be able to raise her from birth ;)

Awww, little Storm is a cutie!

I've heard keeping hamsters in the Rubbermaid bins works out very well.

I hope to see more pictures of her in the future. :)

A bin-cage is a home-made hamster cage that has been made out of a type of storage box by replacing a section(s) of the plastic with wire mesh (usually from the lid).

I just used a 64 litre storage box from B&M, I can't remember if it had a specific brand. It's worked out fine, and if I do need to extend her cage in the future it should be easy.
