Greetings, Everybody! I'm a little emotional today because I just discovered there is a large chance I will have to rehome my Pina because we are moving countries yet again, and as nowadays they aren't accepting budgies anymore and we can't afford to pay extra...

I decided I'd keep this journal... 'A Memory Journal', to keep as a symbol of remembrance of the last few months of our training and bonding. So... I'll begin for today.

4/9/15 - After smuggling Millet Spray from my home city to this one, I've discovered my sweet little bird hates it. My luck, but it sits uneaten at the bottom of the cage, waiting for the rascal to be less stubborn and try it. :giggle:

He's still a little uncomfortable being around us, and still unable to fly since we clipped his wings, but he has developed a thing where he chases us wherever we go. Why? Without us, he can't go back into his cage. I don't know how I'm going to rehome him... I thought this would be his forever home, but it wont be. I trust the person i'm giving him to, but it's all down on one thing... Can I really give him away? It's not easy because he's a family member now... But I'll be strong. I've a year, so I will record it all here. Every little detail.

(He's Sleeping Right Now)

Signing out for the first day,
Luna and Pina

4/9/15 - Today it looks like Pina's training has gotten worse, which is very upsetting. Despite this, I'm determined to bond with him so I can let him go, knowing that I gave him the best time with me possible. That's really what's calming me down for today.

The most exciting thing though is I am going to the pet store right now, ready to purchase a bigger cage, toys- and possibly another feathered friend! Course, big chance we will have to rehome her/him too, but the people who i am giving Pina too are happy to get another, and they adore Pina to bits...

Of Course, I'll be giving them a 98 thousand worded hand-written booklet. I've finished it.

Wish me luck!
Luna and Pina
