i don't know what the mutation is, but i'm sure a more experinced mutation expert will come along.
I just think this bird is absolutely stunning :)

from what Ive read its a yellowface2 clearflight

It does have a distinctive patch on the back of its head, dominant pied?

I honestly dont know and its a shot in the dark for me :p

Rachelle has it right as usuial. Type 2 yellow face opaline clearflight pied cobalt female. It may also have a violet factor.

The main difference between a clearflight pied and a dominant pied is that a dominant pied has a clear area across it's front and a clearflight pied does not

Excellent explanation Nev90, I always get them mixed up.

A very stunning little yf2 opaline cobalt hen clearflight pied. She is very very nice.

It will go to a nice seafoamgreen colour.
