Ok, this is the first time I have ever tried to figure out what the chick mutations will be, so this probably won't be the most accurate, but here we go!

First pair:
All chicks will be Green Dominant Pied split with blue

Second pair:
50% will be colbalt blue
50% will be sky blue
All budgies will be split for Cinnamon since the female is carrying the cinnamon.

I'm not exactly sure how accurate this is, but this is my first time:)

By the way, I have moved this to Budgie Genetics and Mutations:)

Pair one:
50% SF Dominant Pieds, 50% DF Dominant Pieds, all green split for blue. Unless the hen is split for blue, then half will be blue, half green split for blue.

Pair two:
Cobalts and Sky blues, 50% Violet. All normals, all males split for Cinnamon.

hi,
i am breeding 2 pairs of budgies! :) and i am very excited,
the first pair is:
Male sky blue dominant pied
Female yellow/green dominant pied!

Can you tell me if the female is light green or normal (dark) green? For now I will go on the genetics as if she were a light green for starters.

If the hen is NOT split for blue then:
SF (Single factor) Dominant pied sky blue **** X SF Dominant pied light green hen

25% Normal Light green /blue (split for blue)
50% SF Dominant pied light green /blue
25% DF (Double Factor) Light green /blue

If she IS split for blue then
SF (Single factor) Dominant pied sky blue **** X SF Dominant pied light green /blue (split for blue) hen

12.5% Normal Sky blue
25% SF Dominant pied Sky blue
12.5% DF (Double Factor) Sky blue

12.5% Normal Light green /blue (split for blue)
25% SF Dominant pied light green /blue
12.5% DF (Double Factor) Light green /blue

If she is a DARK green hen NOT split for blue then:
SF (Single factor) Dominant pied sky blue **** X SF Dominant pied dark green

12.5% Normal Light green /blue (split for blue)
25% SF Dominant pied light green /blue
12.5% DF (Double Factor) Light green /blue

12.5% Normal Dark green /blue (split for blue)
25% SF Dominant pied Dark green /blue
12.5% DF (Double Factor) Dark green /blue

If she is a DARK green hen split for blue then:
SF (Single factor) Dominant pied sky blue **** X SF Dominant pied dark green /blue

6.25% Normal Sky blue
12.5% SF Dominant pied Sky blue
6.25% DF (Double Factor) Sky blue

6.25% Normal Cobalt
12.5% SF Dominant pied Cobalt
6.25% DF (Double Factor) Cobalt

6.25% Normal Light green /blue (split for blue)
12.5% SF Dominant pied light green /blue
6.25% DF (Double Factor) Light green /blue

6.25% Normal Dark green /blue (split for blue)
12.5% SF Dominant pied dark green /blue
6.25% DF (Double Factor) dark green /blue

what will the mutations be??

also another pair is:
Male cobalt/violet blue
Female sky blue cinnamon wing

All males will be split for cinnamon, no females will carry or be cinnamon.
If you are correct in stating a single violet factor is present in the male then..

25% sky blue
25% violet sky blue
25% cobalt
25% violet cobalt

what will the mutations be??

thanks!!!!!
Hope that helps! Pictures of the birds in question will help us to identify their mutations and be more accurate both in determining THEIR mutation and the breeding outcomes.
