Just thought I'd share one of my other loves with you all. His name is Louis Lestat... though we just call him Louis or Loulou. Lestat was his given name when he was a pup... but its just too stern for such a goof!

AWH ,I have loved Frenchie's since my local vet brought his two babies in one day when I was there . They are so cute you just want to pinch their little chubby cheeks.:clap::loveeyes:

Aw, thank you so much! I think hes quite the looker myself. For some reason, I prefer black or dark colored fur to white and beiges colors. I just naturally find them cuter that way...and I'll be honest and say that its also much nicer considering that I wear a LOT of dark clothes. So a white animals fur would be a huge nuisance. Louis responds to SOOOO many different nicknames! Hehe, call him Loulou, Bébé,Louissimo,Ludwig, and Stinky..

Aw, he is so handsome and super cute!! Honestly, when I was looking into getting a puppy this spring, I was interested in French bulldogs. I thought they were so handsome and comical, and the personality seemed great! But they are not easy to find and the price was way over what I could afford.
Is it true they snore, lol?

Thank you for the kind words! They always snore. Not only when they sleep its just.... hm, perpetual snoring and mouth breathing. They **** a LOT and are prone to so many intestinal, skin problems, and allergies. My Louis has so many different skin issues, and is allergic to just about everything and I got him from a reputable breeder. I'll be honest and say while their personalities are AMAZING; they are funny and will most definitely make you laugh... they are just so much work and are prone to too many issues due to us making them so unnatural. Nothing in nature has a face that flat, and a chest so barrel like. Had I known what I was getting into then, I probably never would've bought one. Of course I don't regret my Louis; but after him there will be no more frenchies coming home with me(I feel inadequate and guilty when I see him in pain with his allergies and skin issues and have nothing to offer him but these 3-4 baths a week and these medications the vets gave him. Which also add more problems/infections due to the antibiotics)

In my opinion, a good old mutts the best Or a sturdy dog. Just because there is nothing better in this world than good health.
