My budgie was diagnosed with Arthritis and i give him metacam each other day
but i have notcied that his eating behavior has change. He used to eat his normal seed food but now i have noticed he only eats bird crackers.
I have now removed it from his food to see if he will eat his normal food.
Why has his eating behavior changed?
Please help me out

What is his normal food, and what are bird crackers, is that something you make or something you buy? Is he acting normal other than the change in eating?

Don't take away the bird's only food source while you are determining what is wrong with him as he could easily starve.

Hi! If you want your bird to learn to eat pellets instead of seeds, you may want to try sprinkling a few on a shiny surface and letting him chase them around like tiny toys. That got June to eat them.:budge:
