After getting asked about Smith on another thread I'm rather curious. I think I posted about them a while ago, so I have a general idea, but now that everyone's molted and adult-y I thought I'd post again.

First is Smith, who I never got a sure answer on :p I was thinking Mauve, but I really don't know.

He does have a yellow face; he hasn't just rubbed it on anything.

Then there's Wesson, who I think is just a light blue. I forget the proper term for it though.

And Apophis, who is a 'normal' blue.

And Sokar, who is a (correct me if I'm wrong) yellowface albino.

I'm gonna take a guess here :)

Smith is a yellow face type I mauve
Wesson is a Cobalt blue
Apophis is a Cobalt blue
and I'm not sure about Sokar.

Hopefully some of our genetics will swing by shortly to confirm :)

Smith - type 1 yellow face mauve
Wesson - sky blue
Apophis - cobalt
Sokar - (assuming she has red eyes) yellow face albino (sometimes called a creamino)

I picked terrible pictures for those two, sorry! Wesson is quite a bit lighter than Apophis. He also has a white dot on the back of his head which I've always been a bit curious about.

Side by side their color differences show a lot better.
I don't have any pictures of the dog on Wesson's head. It's really small, but you can sort of see it in that picture.

..so after chasing him around with a camera for five minutes I did get this:

I don't know if it means anything, tbh. I used to think his feathers were just slightly ruffled all the time. But it did get slightly larger since he molted.

And yes, Sokar has red eyes :D

The white spot on the back of his head means he is split (i.e. carrying the gene) for recessive pied :)
