Ok I have come up with a good one this time. As most of you know I love to design and make things. Well at work a little while ago I cut off a couple of soaptree yucca flower stalks with the idea of slicing them up and having yucca chews for the birds.Well this particular type of yucca did not want to participate. The stalk is as hard as any hardwood I have seen all the way through.

It is one solid piece of stick! So anyway I came up with this really cool idea using something new I have just started and combining it with something I did a few years ago. Here is a couple of pictures of "the stick".

I would like to see a few guesses at what I will do before I tell you. Kind of a fun guessing game. If you have followed what I do and think birds and look at what I did years ago you may get it. Will let you know Sunday or as soon as someone guesses it.

Hint#1: It will take me weeks or months to finish

Maybe you are going to make a stand for the cage to sit in. That would take months to make. Or a play pen for your budgies to play on. Or maybe a swing.

Here are a couple thing's I am doing now and have done in the past. The waterslid decals on the plates which came out really cool, and one of the feather inlays I put on the custom Bass rods I built.




So here's what I am thinking. I will carve a budgie head on top.Then down the length I will put some decals of all my birds and do some feather inlay's to fill in the gaps. Then I will put about 10 coats of clear coat and have the coolest walking stick ever made
