The toy on the bottom left had jingle bells in it and the openings were large so I removed them and will fill the balls with crinkle paper (which my floor tells me she loves). Just because a toy, or any item is made for birds doesn't ensure they are safe. But I've often purchased things and removed the part that is not safe. The bag of chain links were from Amazon. It only has 1000 links so I hope I don't run out lol. I'm planning on rearranging her aerial amusement park a bit. Since my room has become part of her cage, it's also in need of rearranging to hopefully, prevent egg laying. She's been quite interested in her cuttle bone, which I noticed her going after about three days ago, and since this behavior preceded her last spring breeding condition, I want to be ready! She seems to be almost finished with her molt, but still has lots of pin feathers making me wonder how a little blue porcupine got into the cage haha. I'm not sure if I lucked out getting birds who bonded with me so quickly or if I might have some kind of birdy vibe. Either way, she has filled my life with joy! More importantly, I hope I have given her a joy filled life and feels the immense love I have for her!
You should praise her extensively when you put her back in so she starts to see its a good thing and doesn't start trying to evade your tactics
