Hi all,

With reference to this thread I put earlier last month
http://talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=35816

the first pair now have two chicks, and they both got out of their nest, so I took pictures of them to show you and know what are colors, sex, and mutations

nev90 said about the Parents:
"The **** is a dark green dominant pied"
& "The hen is a light Green Cinnamon Opaline"

First Chick

====

Second chick

What do you think?

D'oh! Should learn to read properly (and look at the pictures!) Sorry!

Baby one, light green pied (I'm not very good with recessive and dominant!) not sure about cinnamon though. Maybe after the first moult that'll become clear. Not sure on the sex, hard to tell the cere colour from the first pic.

Baby two, normal green. I'd say male, cere looks quite purpley/pink.

First chick is a dominant pied cinnamon light green. Dad must be split for cinnamon then.

Second chicks looks like a male normal green split cinnamon and opaline. I think the opaline split is giving him some opalescence from the looks of it.

The first chick is a female cinnamon dominant pied light green

The second chick is a male normal light green. He will be split for both opaline and cinnamon
