Paddy has a new cage. As I'm gone a long time during week days at work I want him to have room to play and be inspired. Also in his cage next to the budgies he's always looking up and trying to get level with them. His cage is now higher than theirs (not intentional) and he loves it already which is wonderful.
He still flies onto the top of the budgies cage when he's out and about (his favourite place) as he loves to just crawl all over it and sit on top of it. He doesn't harm the budgies at all, just wants to be on their cage. He has even struck up a friendship with my new yellow baby budgie Homer! They kiss through the bars and Paddy has never tried to hurt him. He's not too interested in any of the other budgies and vice versa.
So at the moment he has THREE big cages to fly to and sit on when he's out - his, the budgies and the cockatiels cage. He thinks he's King Tutt right now .

Thanks Lyn. Yes they are huge, especially for one little bird but he's loving it already which is great. I think the budgies may challenge him for it though
Thanks Ana. Yes, my camera didn't get a good shot of the punk look but that's exactly what it's like - so funny!I'm sure Paddington will put his new cage to good use and will be quite entertained during the time you are not home.
Paddy sure is sporting a really cute wet look, it reminds me of my Lotas when he takes his baths, he always manages to have that type of punk look.

Ta Jill, they love it outside but unfortunately I only have them out there on weekends when I can view them and when I'm home as there are cats in the area that owners let roamHow awesome! I love your patio, I'm sure the birds enjoy being in the sunshine during the day

No worries Kerry. He's loving it. I have to buy more things to go in it now though especially on the 'lower levels'I love your new setup for Paddy (and your other birds!), he's a cute little ham.
I was going to get one of these cage, or one that's very similar for Belle. It helps to see the size of him in respect to the cage, so thank you, too!
I've also now moved his food and water dishes up to the very top so no poop gets in them. He LOVES being up the very top but also likes walking up and down the ladders - it's so cute to see him do that. Goodness knows what he gets up to in there when I'm at work. If Belle gets one let me know.
