So, I had a go at paper cutting. All i used was my scalpel and paper. Quite proud of myself. Do you think it's any good?

It took me roughly 7 hours! I've never been so committed to finish something in my life lol! XD I'm going to design a template for a budgie paper cut out and attempt that next My Step mum used to work in a craft shop and she told me how to do this. For my first attempt, I'm quite pleased. The only thing i could improve next time is to get my lettering a little more even. thanks everyone for your encouragement! You're all so lovely

Wow! Gorgeous Scherenschnitte especially for your first attempt. I would have thought you had been doing this for years. Fantastic job. You should really frame it..it would look beautiful against a dark background paper.

Wow!! That's all I can say. There are some free fonts available on line that do the really fancy lettering in a highly decorative background.
