Peatri says thank you both very much. We were both pretty stunned when he first did this, and we started recording after about the fourth time with this. Me calling him was a spur of the moment choice and it actually worked. Peatri is so smart. I had taken about a 3 or 4 month break in his training, and he remembered EVERYTHING, flawlessly. I mean, they're all quite smart, but Peatri is pretty special.

Well done on his training!
Very cute and smart bird!
The only thing I see "wrong" in his flight session is that you make him
take off.
I have watched many professional flight videos and they let the bird take off by his own decision (when they call him)
Maybe put him on something to stand on and then call him to you?
But everything else was great!

I actually started very close to him, just far enough so he had to jump to me. Then I slowly started to back away. This was actually months ago. I mean closer to 6 months ago, and I actually took a break from it. I called him on a whim, and he actually came to me. I can't get over how incredibly smart he is. The credit really should go to him.

Thanks! I have to try this with Henry although I expect he will take a while to pick it up. :)
