Early this morning, Pedro left Canada with Budgiekin's Gracie to bring her to Reston for her bridesmaid's dress ****ing!

The trip was a success and Pedro enjoyed having some time to chat with Gracie before Poppy takes over and he won't be able to get a word in edgewise. :laughing1:

While Pedro and Gracie were traveling, Poppy was busy putting the finishing touches on Gracie's Guest Cottage Cage

Gracie will be staying with us through Saturday so she'll be here for Poppy's Bridal Shower.

Pedro wanted to let all the male birdies that plan to attend on Saturday know that he's scheduled a few tee times at the Country Club for those who wish to form foursomes and play a round of golf while the lady birdies enjoy the shower!

My guys are not into golf, they only enjoy fighting and behaving badly so a golf course is not where I would put them.

I have little miss Daisy(conure). She will be attending the Bridal Shower, she's sorting out a dress for this Saturday .

It looks like perfect flying weather and I am sure that Pedro and Gracie had a great day hanging out together.

Everyone here is getting excited about the big event. Shamrock, Sapphire and Sundance are looking forward to attending Poppy's Bridal Shower. And, I'm sure that Snowflake and Funshine will be there on the course to join in on the round of golf if there is still space.

Flying Lovebird Air looks to be a top flight organization.
Rather reminds me of Ricardo Montalban's dignity there
in the pilot's seat -- er, perch.

My boys would love to come, although while Dan would be
very polite and supportive company on the links, Ares is
more the beer, football, and mayhem sort and so I think
it is best that he politely decline that invitation. Unless there
is some other dustup planned that we don't know about yet :evil:

We will be delighted to join Poppy in such a happy event, we who
mind our manners, anyway

All the male birdies who want to attend but aren't into golf have lots of other options! There is a fitness room, a tennis court and a pool at the clubhouse. If they want to play basketball, there is a YMCA right down the street from us and, of course, there are the sports-bars right over at Reston Town Center which is within walking distance of the Country Club. So -- any and all the male birds are welcome to attend, I think there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

Sparky won't be joining in the golfing. Tallulah and Sparky can have lots of fun playing bells together!!

The male bird attendees can post their pictures on the "Pedro and his Buds" thread - for lack of a better name for it, on Saturday and the lady bird attendees can post their pictures on the "Poppy's Bridal Shower" thread.

Gracie Mae -- don't worry! Pedro will be by to pick you up really soon!!

Wow - I knew this was going to be an over-the-top affair, but I am absolutely open mouthed at the scope of it! I've never heard of such an array of Sports and Shopping activities for the wedding guests, and there surely has never been such a dashing pilot to transport everyone to the festivities. Great picture of Pedro and Gracie over the lovely trees! Looking forward to the unfolding of the most celebrated social event of the season...

this is nicky. i dont know about this golf stuff. my mom was watching some golf stuff on the tv and some guy said he shot a birdie.

and then he got a hole in one.

What an amazing thread. This was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved the flight shots with the airplane. I talked to a toy sales company here about that lovely plane. It's quite amazing. You really could make children's books!
