Poppy's Bridal Shower - Saturday, April 14th

As you may remember, Pedro and Poppy will be tying the knot on May 5th and everyone is invited!!

This Saturday, April 14th will be the first "event" of the upcoming wedding celebrations. :D

What a beautiful invitation! I thank you for including me,
and I would love to attend (except that I'm now about 2,700
miles away now). I even know how to get there, as I lived in
Fairfax for about 20 years! I know it is going to be a beautiful
shower. Thank you for giving us the heads up about the
registries. Gifts should be special. Now, have you thought
of any shower games?

I would love to attend, and I thank you for inviting me, but I can't make it. :( Although, you can bet I'll be there in spirit, and I hope you'll tell us all about it after. I'm sure you will have a blast! :D Tell me ALL about it, OK?

My flock can't wait to be in attendance at this special occasion. :) Gracie is looking forward to wearing her new, and perfectly ****ing dress! :)

Skye -- all of the TB Members are invited to attend as it is going to be a "virtual" shower held here on the forum. :D

Oh, errr, um, well the budgie ladies were all just planning to wear special bonnets that day and save the formal dresses for the actual wedding.... Do you think Gracie will have a problem with that?

Oooh! Ulkie, Sky, and Mango will be there! The lovely Mango will wear her bonnet but..... What do the budgie gentlemen wear! Ulkie and Sky are freaking out! By the way, are tiels aloud too? Shakes would love to come!

Ah, then we'll be there -- oh no! Wait, it's a SHOWER! My guys can't come to a shower! It'll just me then, unless you want an African Grey party crasher :)

I was just sooo surprised that I actually knew where that address was. It would be nice to visit the area again, in a non-virtual way :)

Well, since it's a bridal shower - a girl kind of thing, the only one who can actually attend this wonderful occasion (of all my birds) is my sweet Candy. But she is a cockatiel, is that a problem?:D

The Shower is for Lovebirds, Cockatiels, Budgies, Parrots, etc.

Poppy is a lovebird so this is definitely not a budgie-only event!! :laughing1:

Cockatiels, Lovebird, Parrots and any of the "Other Birds" who want to celebrate are welcome!

With regard to the "fellows", I'm thinking Pedro is going to have to have his bachelor party a little bit closer to the wedding date. ;)

However, if the guy-birdies want to come and hang out at the Country Club while the lady-birds enjoy the Bridal Shower, they are more than welcome to do so.

There is even a playground where the little tykes can play!
