It was our first official bird show this weekend and my Grey/Green **** got 2nd Best Novice Budgie; Any Age and Young Bird. Feeling very proud of him. :budgie:

He was the first born of his clutch and also my first born Exhibition Budgie.

Thanks folks. I have been lucky to have had some great advice from people here and locally.

His name is Zeus. He also has two sisters, Semele and Rhea who are nice but not quite to the same standard.

And here is the pic. A friend took it a few weeks ago at our club practice show and his primaries were still coming through.

We have a few more shows, so if we are lucky we might get a couple more placings. A Best Young Bird Novice would be nice but I as he is going up against birds from the previous breeding season this may be a bit of an ask. Will be interesting to see how he develops once he hits maturity.
