Very cute! Next time I am down at my daughters - and it's hot - I'll spritz her cockatiels and you'll see why your Puff reminds me of what one of her 'tiels does when being spitzed (they LOVE it too!)

I have realized they tolerate it (except PUff who always goes nuts) if the water is cold, but if I fill the bottle with hot water they LOVE it! Spraying it immediately cools it so they are just getting a warm spritze. Before I would fill it with warm water but that didn't make a difference. We'll see if they change their mind in the summer and want cold!

I would love to see a video of your daughter's tiels! Watching any animal be so happy is wonderful. I will have to take a video of Buddy the feline rolling on cement. I don't think there is any creature in the whole world who enjoys anything as much as he enjoys that!

Cute video. I found mine like it much better with hotter water. I sprayed myself, and with the lukewarm water it comes out as cold, hot is just warm by the time it is misted. It's so cute seeing them enjoy it.

Thanks they are spoiled!! I just love making new toys to see what they do with them!! They got another spritzing today before I left the house and they all went nuts and jumping in the bath too. I am afraid Puff got a little too wet because he went and sat with his wings quivering and eyes closed afterwards. I took him and wrapped him in a towel for a bit and dried him a bit too. He did not appreciate this!!! Silly little guy is quite young so I shouldn't trust him to know when he is wet enough and stop!

Thanks everyone for the set up compliments! Other than the play gym my brother built it is really just some branches from the yard and a bong perch and a basket of small toys. I hung a basket from plastic chains from plant hooks in the ceiling. It is like their tree house. The basket is great for hanging the hoop swing and raffia swings too. All just a hodge pose of discount stuff and dollar store finds.
