Just posting a picture here of Dash to get someone to confirm his mutation?
Is he a recessive pied?
His green is quite an olive or even jade green........Will that green change and become brighter?
Underneath his tail it nearly looks blue in some spots........

He looks like a Recessive Pied.
And yep the green will most likely become brighter with time.

Also he is a beautiful budgie, love how he is colored.

WOW Really???
Not bad for a (AUS) $7 budgie!!! :D
I will post pics again as he matures.
Miss Parakeet, he is too young to potentially have an iris ring :)
The black spots on his wings are getting darker already.
He is a sweetie and I feel really lucky to have spotted him as there was an awful lot of choice where he came from ;)

If the pied type was anything other than recessive there would be no dark markings on the flight feathers

That's helpful information, thanks Nev you sure know what you're talking about :)
The dark spots on his wings seem to be getting darker by the day :)

He is still soooo quiet, hardly makes a peep  I'm sure it'll come though :D
