Hi everyone :)

I went to my local pet shop last night and headed for the budgie cages.

I saw this female budgie and she had the most unique colors I've ever seen!

She was a recessive pied, very light yellow with a violet (and I mean, purple) underbelly and rump. She also had cinnamon wings.

So, imagine a budgie that is light yellow, purple and cinnamon brown. Beautiful? :D Anyone know what her exact mutation might be called?

Unfortunately, my phone's camera was not that great and I couldn't take a picture of her. :( Maybe I'll go back in a few days with my regular camera :)

Just wanted to share! :D

the violet under belly part would mean she has a Violet Factor - a parent or both parents were violet or carried the violet gene
