I have two nearly identical siblings, from two different clutches. Dad is sky blue DFYF1 normal split for recessive pied and Mom is cobalt opaline spangle dominant pied and either combined recessive pied, or split recessive pied. Both babies are sky blue YF1 dominant pied. It's possible the older one is combined dominant-recessive pied (see Post #17 here http://www.talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=45435).

Here's my question: The older sibling has clear cheek patches, whereas the younger has violet cheek patches. Does this difference have any significance mutation-wise?
