Hi Everyone,
Is it really necessary to spray budgies for mites or use drops when you've got only one budgie that doesn't show any symptoms.
Is it true that you have to spray them every 6 months?

Hi no it isn't necessary to spray regularly for mites and it is actually harmful especially young budgies.
We use and encourage others to use Ivemectin for mites it is a topical liquid. One drop behind the head, so the bird can't digest the mixture. It is easily obtained via the net.

You would use it only if you have mites. It is not to be used just as a preventitive.
