Yeah I know..... It was so boiling hot today.. Worst day 100 humidity and 35C now a cool change has come... I hope it's not going to be hot again tomorrow I had to take the photos quick cause it just started to thunder see how green the grass is now... That is the nursing home where I do my jobs...Were in for more rain flooding in the river.. I hope tomorrow isn't going to be like today.. We have had nearly 15 inches of rain since Thursday... Indi has been feeling it to....

Very nice pictures, Lyn!

Growing up in the Midwestern United States, I experienced many extraordinary thunderstorms during the high humidity months of July and August. My sister and I loved them then and love them still. :D
Torrential rains with loud booming thunder and vicious streak lightening is one of the wonders of nature that is truly awe inspiring and worth of the highest respect.

Thank you Randy... It is very rarely that we get tornado's last ones were in 2013 for the big floods... We usually get Cyclones more around this time of the year this is our storm weather... It is overcast a little cooler than yesterday. I was playing table tennis and sure melted some skin off.. I needed to loose some weight not that I'm fat....

Very nice photos,Lyn! The clouds look very impressive!
Thank you Gaby!!! They were a quick photo like run and shoot before the thunder got bad...

Thank you Deb. I should be use to the noise of the thunder but the noise has been really angry and loud and it makes us jump ten feet in the air even Indi jumped a few times when it happened and he usually isn't scared of storms... We have also been having spectacular lightning strikes...haven't been able to get a photo of that yet I don't like being out side when that is happening. Glad you liked my photos... I love the rain and looking at the thunder inside through the window...

Whoa, Lyn! :wow:

Those are some dark and heavy skies ;)

I love seeing those wild, moody storm pictures. They're so interesting! I enjoy it when the skies look thunderous like that, but I can imagine the thunderclaps over there are loud and sudden! :scare:

Thanks for posting some great pictures :D

Thank you Gi Gi. I like taking photos of storms but not when it is thundering. I bet no one saw the two little birds on the wire in the last picture...

I didn't even see them! :giggle: They're braver then I am, I wouldn't sit on an electrical wire during a thunder storm! :scare: :behindsofa:

I wouldn't sit on a wire on a electrical storm either... They are sure game....

Those birds are also in the first three pictures Lyn.
Now I am the one who didn't see the birds in the first 3 photos but I knew they were in the last photo. I just checked and you are right.. You got good eyes Kate.. We should have a spotting the birds in these photos to see if they can pick them up....
