I just got a new budg yesterday named Agent(also Sir, Mister, Master, Dozer, etc.) Jeb.
[or also just Jeb]
a few days ago my bird Lindo(who i got when i was 7) died, so i got him.
the problem is, he couldn't be a creamino because he doesn't have red eyes, and he couldn't be a double factor spangle because he has a blue back!:S

please halp.

P.S. i call it a bleamangle :p

Agent Jeb is such a pretty boy!

He is a cobalt violet recessive pied yellowface II normal budgie :D

If you post more pictures, of his chest and face especially, we can confirm for sure ;) The only thing I can't confirm right now is his type of pied, it is possible he is double factor dominant pied.

He's gorgeous :)

EDIT TO ADD:

Oh, by the way, :welcome: to the forums! I seem to have forgotten that important statement :D

I hope to see lots more of Agent Jeb around here, and you as well.

I see that Deborah has posted the basic links on the forums that all members read! Lots of information is contained in those few links that is essential to knowing exactly how to care for little Jeb as well as possible :)

If you have questions afterwards, be sure to ask as we'd be happy to help!

Cheers

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your new budgie friend! :)

You have my deepest sympathies over your Lindo's passing. I'm sure your budgie was truly beautiful (Lindo in my native language portuguese is an adjective meaning "beautiful" and it's used for male gender. The word "linda" being the adjective to use on female gender with the same meaning)

Agent Jeb is a real cutie! From that photo and looking at the overall lack of markings on the face and wings, I'm more inclined to say your Jeb is a double factor dominant pied budgie.
A photo showing the front part of the body and as well as the face, will be helpful. If you post more of a close up pic showing the beak/cere area, we can also help you out in identifying Jeb's gender, since from that photo we are unable to see it.

Best of luck with Agent Jeb!

Yep, your little darling is a cobalt violet double factor dominant pied yellowface II normal budgie! Jeb is absolutely stunning!

From the picture, though, I think he may be a "she"

In order to accurately determine gender and since pied budgies are at times trickier to sex, it's best that you post a clear photo taken in natural lighting, no flash from camera (no artificial lighting). :) Given the fact double factor dominant pied male budgies usually have a very characteristic cere, I'm also more inclined to say that Jeb is a girl. A better pic will help confirm or deny it.
