Hi guys

went to a bird place today (just to have a sticky beak :D) and saw the most unusual budgie I have ever seen.
He was a very light coloured budgie, light greyish/blue but very very light "powdery" blueish, nearly with a purplish hue, he had a bit of yellow on him too, very light yellow, mainly on his cheeks but also on his back but it could have been his tummy :S sorry :(
And he had the most vibrant purple (and I mean purple, not pink ;)) cere!!!
Absolutely stunning!
I do not recall any wing markings though, if they were there, they were ever so light/faded.
The sign said they were baby budgies so I guess his markings might still change............
Anyone got any idea what mutation he might have been???
I know I should have asked, but to be honest, I reckon they wouldn't haven given me the right answer ;)

Yeah I know I should have
Or no no no, I should have just bought him :D:D:D

I am also thinking yellow face now after "research" ;)
The softest colours I had ever seen, sooooo pretty :)

I tell you what though, not sure how much these baby budgies were but this place wanted $30 for an aviary pied budgie!!!
I definitely got myself a bargain with Dash ($7!!!!!) especially since he is so tame :)
The handreared ones normally fetch around the $25 - $35 over here....
From private breeders that is, so once again, this bird place is overpriced!
