Hey.
My budgie got bitten by some of my others (because she was too active and enjoyed fighting with the others, despite all of my effort when they were free). At first it was just a wound, than after a week it looked worse so we rushed to the vet (no avian wet in my area, this guy is the best with birds).
He said he doesn't think it's broken but it very well looks like it. Bu when we were there it wasn't half this bad.

The vet said he is not sure it's a broken bone because he doesn't feel it's that lose.
It's very swollen, dark in color on one side and it's finger has a bend to it like 10-15 degree from the injury down.
We are going to go back to the vet asap tomorrow (Monday), but meanwhile, I would kindly ask your opinions.
I give her 1-1 drop of antibiotics/morning and at evening + 1 drop of premixed medicine for pause of pain at evening.
Please tell me what do you suggest meanwhile I wait for tomorrow.
Any advices are welcome, even after.
Thank you.

Yes, the budgie's toe does look to be broken in the picture you posted.

Did the vet prescribed the antibiotic specifically for this injury?

Please be sure to update us in this thread after you've revisited the vet with your bird.
