Hello! this is Lilly and Gascoigne, me and my boyfriend got them 2 months now and they are quiet a pair! While i was looking at the mutations i couldn't be sure about some of their mutations, so i would like your help guys.

1) what type of yellowface is Gascoigne? he seems like a single factor 1 or a double factor 2 to me. (the yellow on his face is really pale but he also has yellow on the feathers of the wings, but not on the main body.)

2) Has Lilly violet factor? and if so, is it single or double? also is she skyblue or cobalt? she looks like a skyblue, opaline, spangle with violet factor and maybe clearlflight

Gascoigne appears to be a SF Type 1 Yellowface Mauve Normal.

Lily looks like a Sky in some photos and a Cobalt in others. To me that suggests SF Violet Sky which is a non-visual violet, but lovely nonetheless. So my call for her is SF Violet Sky Blue Opaline Spangle. No indication of clearlflght.

thank you very much for your help! are you sure Gascoigne is mauve? because in the naked eye his body looks clear grey and his tail is black and not navy

On my monitor his cheek patches appear violet. Is that not the case? For a grey, the cheek patches would be silver-blue.

oh i see... the cheek patches look plain black to me.

Ah. Well, what I suspect is going on is that the yellow overlay of SF yellowface is darkening his violet patches and navy tail to black.

Thank you for the useful informations, i will study thourghly the articles ❤ The cage they are in is the biggest we could find the time we got them, it's dimensions are 39x32x26 cm, it doesn't seem that spacious, but we open the cage and let them out everyday, so most of the time they are outside of the cage. Do you think we should get another one?

That is definitely not a big enough cage for your budgies.
The minimum size for two budgies would be 76 cm Long x 46 cm Wide x 46 cm High.
Bigger is BETTER. Budgies fly laterally so Length is more important than Height.
It is critical that you ensure the spacing between the bars is no more than 1.27 cm.

If you send me a Direct Message letting me know where you are located, I can try to help you research suppliers from whom you may be able to get an appropriate cage for your birds.
