Armand is healthy! The vet gave him a clean bill of health and now that he gets to be with his new friend Gatsby he is much more active, playful, curious, and friendly!

So now that I've been able to get some good pictures of him, I was hoping that someone could tell me what color he is! I am pretty sure he's an opaline (not positive, though - I'm no expert!) I am not at all sure what his color would be called though. Is it violet?

One thing is for sure - he's lovely :D

He is a beauty! I'm not very good at identifying mutations, but he looks more mauve in these photos to me than violet. I may very well be wrong though, haha.

...and I was going to call him a blueberry budgie! :giggle:

I'll stick with my albino and creamino :p

He looks like a violet mauve opaline, but I also would not be surprised if he was a violet grey :) His color and cheek patches look deeper than a normal mauve for sure. Here are a couple of my violet greys for comparison they look quite a bit like mauves :)
