This is my friend Austin's budgie, I think he's a boy but his name is Baby Girl :giggle:
I noticed that he's a dominant pied but could he also be opaline? or clearflight pied? :budge:

Sorry I am no good with mutations but she is a beautiful bird!
Your friend is correct with the gender as her cere is brown and crusty indicating a female in breeding condition :thumbsup:

So I got the dominant pied and opaline right :proud: What about clearflight pied? His/her flight feathers are clear

I agree with Nev, looks like a dominant pied opaline cobalt to me too :)

Clearflight pieds generally don't have the band markings across their chest, but rather no pied markings on the chest or some splotched pied markings near the top of their chest instead :)
