I agree he looks like a recessive pied sky blue, he could be a full body color greywing or a clearwing. He also looks like he could be opaline and a combination pied with so few markings... It is hard to know for sure without breeding him if you don't know anything about his back round :)

I'm interested in these difficult mutations where one isn't sure about. Do you have any info about the parents?

Recessive pied sky blue with at least one other mutation. The other mutation could be dominant pied, spangle, greywing, clearwing or opaline. With a bird like this without any background family infomation the only way to be sure of the mutation is by breeding and studing the results. It could take several clutches with different mates to prove the mutations for certain

I have no info on his parents. I was planning on breeding him, but he wasn't as suave as Mikey. :) I may never know for sure I guess. Thanks for the opinions though!
