Hey there,

Mozart and Constance had two babies! One of them has the pattern of the mother (opaline), although Light Green; but the other one has none of the parent's pattern, showing no pattern in the wings. Our guess is that this last one has a clearwing mutation, but opinions are welcome!

Here's a picture of the baby:

he looks like light green opaline clearwing or dilute and maybe a hen?I m not sure but some specialists will confirm exact mutations.

definitely an opaline. if the **** is not also opaline he must be split for it to produce opaline chicks.

could be greywing or clearwing, will need a photo when a bit older.

Mother's opaline mutant and dad's a split, because one of the offsprings is just like the mother. I suspect dad is a full-body greywing, so the dilution mutation hypothesis is most probably excluded.

Due to the rejection by their parents, the older one taught him/her how to fly. Their such a kids

if hte father is a full bodied clearwing then you have a clearwing or a greywing or another full bodied greywing... not much help huh!? it should be more obvious once it has grown up.

The younger one is just fine!

We think the big brother died due to cold, because he was eating by himself and just died when we took the younger one to another cage (also attacked him!:S). Before we went to sleep we was very energetic, but maybe the nest was too cold for him, since he was alone there...

But the younger one is fine and very happy!:budgie:
