Hello and welcome to the forums!

Kyoti is a beautiful little girl, congratulations! Although the photos are a bit blurry, I can see that she's a cobalt double factor violet yellow face type II spangle budgie.

What a gorgeous little one :D Since you only got her today, it's quite normal for her to be shy; in fact, she's likely to be quiet and a bit stressed out for quite a long time. The important thing is to make her feel comfortable by not trying to touch her or interact with her physically for at least two weeks. During this time, you should play soft music in the background (no budgie noises as this can stress out budgies who are confused as to why they can't see the other birds), talk to her softly as much as possible, and spend lots of time sitting by her cage doing quiet activities like reading, working, etc. so she can begin to get used to you.

You've come to a great place to learn even more about the best of budgie care practices! Please be sure to read through the forums' many budgie articles and "stickies" to ensure you're up to date on everything. If you have questions after reading through things, please be sure to ask as we'd love to help.

Hope to see you and Kyoti around the forums!

Cheers 👋
