Hello brought this male budgie a few weeks back as he head and some of his under tail look like he has been attacked with a luminous yellow marker pen lol, its really bright and luminous, pics don't do it justice.

Just wondering what sort of yellow face is he? is he also olpaine as well?

I would like to breed him with my albino female next year, she is also masking SF dom pied sky blue.

He's an Opaline Yelloface Mutant 1 Cobalt.

We'll consider the hen to be just a Dominant Pied Blue, since her Ino won't be showing up on any chicks unless the **** is split for Ino as well.

So you can expect:

  • Normal Yellowface Mutant 1 Skyblue cocks
  • Normal Yellowface Mutant 1 Cobalt cocks
  • Normal Skyblue cocks
  • Normal Cobalt cocks
  • Dominant Pied Yellowface Mutant 1 Skyblue cocks
  • Dominant Pied Yellowface Mutant 1 Cobalt cocks
  • Dominant Pied Skyblue cocks
  • Dominant Pied Cobalt cocks
  • Opaline Yellowface Mutant 1 Skyblue hens
  • Opaline Yellowface Mutant 1 Cobalt hens
  • Opaline Skyblue hens
  • Opaline Cobalt hens.
  • Dominant Pied Opaline Yellowface Mutant 1 Skyblue hens
  • Dominant Pied Opaline Yellowface Mutant 1 Cobalt hens
  • Dominant Pied Opaline Skyblue hens
  • Dominant Pied Opaline Cobalt hens.

Note* All cocks will be split Opaline and Ino.
Note** If you notice any mauves in the clutch, it would mean the hen is masking cobalt.
If you notice only Cobalts and Mauves, then the hen is masking Mauve.
I assumed she's a Skyblue.
