I have a light green opaline hen. She's bred once before, and so I found out that she is split for blue. I've bred her with a normal sky blue, and together they had 3 chicks. The 2 elsest chicks are originally sky blue, but have the yellowface (type II) mutation. The third chick is a normal light green. The mother could also possibly be split for recessive pied, because she has very light iris rings that haven't lightened with age. I've had her for almost 2 years now, so if she were like most budgies, she'd have light colored irises.

Though she is already paired up with a normal sky blue, I was wondering what her chicks would look like if I were to pair her with a different mate.

This other male is a sky blue dominant pied, who also has the yellowface (type II) mutation. What would the chicks end up looking like if I were to pair my light green opaline hen with this ****?

If you breed a sky blue dominant pied male X Light green opaline /split for blue hen you can get...

Light green chicks
Sky blue chicks
Normals
Dominant pied
No chicks would show opaline but the male chicks would be split for it. And I'm not sold on the recessive pied. But even if she is split for it there wouldn't be any chicks showing it but some males and females would be split for it.

Except if dad is split to Opaline then they would get both Males and Females visually Opaline

and if both parents are split to recessive pieds they'd get them visually as well.
