They are so cute. I love ducks. My father and grandfather used to keep ducks when I was little. Not wild ones of course and they were for egg production. We had about 5,000 of them.

Awesome pics, Lyn! It's funny how all the ducks decide to take a nap at the same time. :D
I'm a big fan of ducks too, I had two pet ducks when I was a child and have great memories of them. :)

Thank you Randy... They were so funny to watch the closer I got the noise they were making was so loud. There must of been over 4000 ducks there to many to count..

Yeah apparently another cold snap is on the way. They have had snow in Hobart. First time in about 30 years.

What lovely pictures, Lyn! I do rather like your black jacket in the first picture ;)

Also the ducks are just gorgeous, their feathers are very nice in such an odd position :giggle:

Looks like a lovely and serene nature preserve :) I really enjoyed them!

Those are really interesting looking ducks! :wow:

I love  their strange little wing feathers.
We don't have ducks of that type here in the States.

You Australians have A LOT of super-interesting animals in your country!

Thank you Deb. Yes we have a lot of interesting animals out here in Australia but you also have different ducks where you live that we don't have to... There feathers are really stricking aren't they...When you come to Australia for a holiday we will show you these wonderful animals and Indi will spoil you to bits..

Maybe I need a poo scoop to pick it up and put it in a bag to bring home......My garden is fantastic. The key is Lime in my garden.having lunch with our friends again.....
